Lucky 8

For funzies. Was meant for a contest but already passed the due date :(
Fixed proportions and added extra details. Added a stock photo of a Colt Peacemaker for hand placement guide.
My boyfriend suggested that I go for realism this time, which is a challenge for me but I really like
how the face turned out.
Abs...:]Details of buttons. This is at 100% size of the canvas.
Finished the leather for the most part. Added an overlay layer for the shine.

Autumn

I just moved into my college apartment in UTD. So far I'm loving everything about it.
Need to draw something but couldn't continue any of the projects from past months. So here's something fresh.

Human swordmage

My friend's D&D character.

Palette was becoming too dark. Tried a different shading approach.

Gemini revisit

It's been way too long since the initial sketch so I'm just going to make another post.
I picked the file up from deep within my hard drive, blew the collected dust from it, and made it less rough looking. That's a lot of details...I'm so not looking forward to inking that.

Bald Beauty

Should prolly start on this whole scholarship deal, even though it's a bit (ok, really) late. Here's my entry for "Mirror, Mirror". The idea of this theme is to challenge the idea of conventional beauty. Here's my interpretation: a young woman suffering from cancer, stripped of her hair yet she is still stunning in her own way.

Artbook

I was invited to participate in an anime art book project. The theme is 'First'. I tried to stay away from something generic so I ended up with this...some kind of 'first' encounter between a man and a pond mermaid...*nervous laugh*.
I have tried other concepts but this one nags at me the most. And I have less than a week to complete it...oh dear.

I am open for suggestions. Make it quick though cause I'm planning on coloring this soon.

Got bored of first concept/realized it has perspective problems, moving on to this one. Better composition. And have 4 days to complete...shit.

happy with the transparent cocoon. need to fix colors...

Dead line extended, change of color scheme/pose/expression/atmosphere. Much better :3 For the first time I'm actually excited about working on this pic. The wings were cropped and pasted on from a stock photo for composition sake, will be painted later, same goes for cheap custom leaf brush. <.<

Fixed anatomy problems

And finished!

yellow + pink

Random face. I don't draw spontaneously enough. I also don't use this color scheme often.
